During the second leg of your excursion, you’ll come across the best of what St Andrews Bay has to offer in terms of wildlife. These include birds like herons, ospreys, and pelicans, underwater marine life like hermit crabs, sea urchins, sea horses, blue crabs, and starfish, plus all the animal life on Shell Island. Shell Island is an exploring heaven for those interested in shells and sand dollars. Snorkel grass flats and discover St. Andrews Bay along the Gulf of Mexico.
Our mission: We work with a purpose. Panama City Beach dolphin trips are educational experiences. This allows for greater appreciation of wildlife and knowledge. We are an eco friendly tour that does not harm or disturb wildlife. We are an ecotour outfitter that cares about the dolphins. They will appreciate it.
Your captain will guide you through the waters and allow you to observe the dolphins from a very close distance.
This can be explained by people who seem to only get interested in someone when they show little care. Ask your mom, she may have been in the same situation when you were dating your dad.
You and your group will get into the water before the dolphins get there. In this manner, the dolphins will get curious and instead of swimming away, they’ll be drawn towards us. Considering the dolphins are wild animals, the best way to arouse their curiosity is to act uninterested in them. You can relate this to people who only seem to get interested in someone they are dating when that person shows the least indication of caring. Mom can explain this phenomena to you easily, because this is likely how she met your dad.
Cancellations received less than 24 hours before the tour begins will not be processed. The full cost of the tour will be charged.
Our captains will offer plenty of options of how you can spend your time to ensure you get the most enjoyment out of your dolphin tour. Some of those options include snorkeling the grass flats of Shell Island or the jetties. Maybe you would enjoy a walk on the beach where you can find sand dollars, starfish, crabs, fish & birds of all kinds during this amazing eco tour!
The captains are local and friendly with decades of experience. They have extensive knowledge of the manatees, dolphins and other marine life in the area. They are happy and able to customize any trip for you, and they love showing off the natural beauty this place has to offer.
You will find some of the most beautiful beaches and snorkeling spots on Florida's coasts! Mexico Beach and Port St. Joe offer adventure options.
Our boats are designed for cruising and you can enjoy watching dolphins in their natural habitats or swimming with them.
If we swim parallel to dolphins instead of swimming towards them or reaching out to them (which is also illegal), then this will be the best, most ethical way to allow dolphins to come to our aid.
Your trip aboard our super-comfortable boats will allow you to swim and see dolphins in their natural habitat. Children will love snorkeling in the water and being able to see the dolphins from our boats.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour begins will not be eligible for a reimbursement due to the delay in reserving seats. Clients who cancel within this time frame will be charged full price.
We will bring you as close to dolphins and as safe as possible. The dolphins will decide how close or far they want to be able to interact with them. We practice passive observation, which simply means we let the dolphins approach us. Our dolphins in St. Andrews Bay can be extremely playful and interactive. Many of our guests have memorable encounters with them.
It's all worth it once you get there because the water is the most beautiful I've ever seen. The water is so clear that it feels like you're swimming in a pool. We had no idea what to expect, so we went with the intention of spending a few hours on the island. Come prepared to spend the entire day!
Dolphins, loggerhead turtles, green sea turtles, ghost crabs, beach mice, nine-banded armadillos, alligators that live in the island's lake, marsh rabbits, racoons, and other wildlife can be found on Shell Island.
Wear nothing but a swimsuit. Dolphins have extremely sensitive skin, and because you will be able to touch them during your interaction, we recommend that you refrain from wearing sunscreen, oils, or perfumes.
