CO2 lasers are characterized by their high cutting quality.Their primary area of application lies in the medium to high range of materialthicknesses. Fabricators may think first of high speed cutting when thinking about fiber laser technology. It might be true that speed is relative when it involves tube cutting. It's about how long it takes to cut a tube to meet the specifications, not its actual speed.

The fiber laser requires less maintenance than a CO2 laser. The fiber laser does not need the mirror cleaning or bellows checking that a CO2 cutting machine requires. The fiber laser doesn't need any preventive maintenance, provided it receives clean chiller and cooling water.

Pipe and tubing Cutting Procedures:
Rotate the pipe cutter around. Tighten the cutter slightly and rotate it around the pipe several times. Repeat until the pipe is severed by the blade. Steel pipe can be cut with a hacksaw, reciprocating saw, or steel-pipe tubing cutter.
