The has a handle made of aluminum alloy that can be adjusted to a number of different heights for the user's optimum comfort. The handle is made of a material that makes it strong without adding any additional weight to the bag. Textured Keep Going! One of the easy grip handles is located on the top of the luggage, while the other is located on the right-hand side of the bag.
The attractive bag will keep your belongings dry thanks to the textured waterproof exterior. The Textured Carry On is a water-waterproof piece of luggage that maintains its streamlined appearance because to the use of a polycarbonate hard shell material produced in Germany called Makrolon. In addition, the tiny diamond textured design helps to conceal any scuff marks or smudges that may appear. I put this bag to the test in the slushy streets of springtime in Canada and discovered that not only did the interior keep dry, but there was no way I could tell that it had ever been in contact with water.

The outside of this piece of luggage is constructed with Makrolon®, which is a form of polycarbonate that is marketed under a brand name that is owned by Covestro. Polycarbonate, more often referred to as PC, is a material that resembles plastic and is noted for its strength, resistance to impact, and lightweight nature. It is used for a broad number of applications, including athletic equipment, eyeglasses, and luggage. After looking at the images of the Elegance for the first time, I received the impression that it had a tough exterior. As can be seen in the following video, it kind of does, but not fully; to put it another way, it is a lot tougher than a cloth suitcase, but it is not totally inflexible.
One of the benefits of a suitcase made from PC is that it offers a high level of protection for its contents. This is something that may be very useful for transporting fragile objects such as computers or other expensive and critical items. Since of its rigid construction, carry-on luggage such as the Elegance can be difficult to store in the overhead compartment of an airplane because it does not compress well into confined areas because it is not designed to do so.

The Road Runner Carry-on with Laptop Pocket 20" from Level 8 is quite comparable to my go-to Samsonite bag in terms of style and functionality. It includes a huge front pocket that can be folded down into many different storage compartments, one of which is designed just for a laptop. Additionally, it is comparable to the Away case that I reviewed; however, this one seems and feels to be of much higher quality. Due to the fact that it opens completely flat, it was much simpler for me to remove items from the pocket than it had been with my prior cases, such as the Away.
On the inside, it is quite neatly organized, with one side including straps and the other featuring a fabric section that zips closed. This results in the creation of multiple additional pockets on the exterior of the zippered side, which may come in very useful for storing your smaller stuff, such as an Apple air tag for the purpose of monitoring it, pencils, or medicine.
The primary distinction is that, in comparison to the Samsonite, it is unquestionably considerably heavier. This is mainly due to the fact that it has a Bayer Makrolon® Hard Shell, which is of aerospace-grade quality and is both sturdy and water-resistant for the purpose of protecting your belongings. If I have to choose one of my other two hand luggage bags to compare it to, I would say that in terms of weight, it falls somewhere in the middle of the Away case and the Tumi case. It has a weight of 4 kilograms, which is fairly comparable to the weight of a lot of high-end carry-on cases like Tumi.

When I look at the Elegance, I see a very practical suitcase. It's a rectangle that isn't marred by extraneous outer pockets or large handles; it's as if someone was trying to get as much space inside the suitcase as possible. The design is simple, perhaps even boring (especially with this rather drab olive color), but it should maximize the amount of clothes, toiletries, and other items that I can take with me when I travel. There's a single, long zipper that goes around three sides of the bag. On top of the suitcase there's the combination lock, which locks the zipper pull tabs in place, the telescopic handle, and one of the carry handles; there's another carry handle on the side. Other than a small LEVEL8 logo on the front and back and the wheels on the bottom, there's nothing else to see.
The outside of this luggage is made with Makrolon®, which is the brand name of a type of polycarbonate owned by Covestro. Polycarbonate, better known as PC, is a plastic-like material that is known for being strong, impact-resistant, and lightweight; it has a wide variety of uses including sporting gear, eyewear, and luggage. When I first looked at the pictures of the Elegance, I thought it had a hard outer shell. It kind of does, but not completely, as you can you see in the video below; in other words, it's a lot harder than a fabric suitcase, but it's not completely inflexible.
The advantage of a suitcase made from PC is that it provides good protection for its contents, something that can be extra important if carrying laptops or other valuable, breakable items. The disadvantage is that the inflexibility can make it difficult to stuff carry-ons like the Elegance into an overhead bin of an airplane; it won't squish into tight spaces.

These durable wheels will you take you through Europes cobblestone streets and back again If you've had a few carry on luggage pieces before, then you know that not all wheels are made to last. But that's not the case with Level 8 products. The features multi-directional spinner wheels that are smooth, ultra quiet, and provide effortless control. The wheels are put through rigorous testing to ensure durability, even when taken on rough cobblestone streets.
The is similar to the Textured Carry On in quality, functionality, and size, but it has an external laptop pouch. If you like to travel with your laptop, then this is great for working in airports or streamlining security. See my full Level8 Road Runner

The final exterior item is the TSA-approved combination lock that can secure the zipper pull tabs. TSA-approved locks are not required for luggage when flying, but if I use a different lock, and if TSA feels the need to open and inspect my bag, then they are permitted to cut my lock. This would likely ruin my bag. While such locks don't provide perfect protection—I really have no idea who else has one of these special TSA keys—they are a good compromise.
Inside the Elegance, there are two compartments, the left and the right sides. Both sides have their own zippered mesh divider, which will keep everything in place when the suitcase is opened. The divider on the left side has two zippered pockets that are perfect for storing smaller items. The compartments are lined with a grey fabric to provide some protection for their contents.
Level8 Carry On
There are four wheels on the bottom that spin freely. They are covered with a slightly rubberish material, which means they won't scratch my hardwood floors. The bearings have very low friction; a gentle push sent the suitcase rolling 15 feet. They are also nice and quiet. LEVEL8 describes their wheels as having an “aseismic design.” I had to look up that word, and it means that it resists the destructive forces of earthquakes. Somehow, I don't think that's the word LEVEL8 was looking for. Despite this, they are a well-designed set of wheels.
There are two carry handles, one on top and one on the side, that are fairly narrow and made of a rubberish material. They lay flat against the Elegance until they are grabbed, at which point they extend out about an inch and a half. While this design will save some space in an overhead bin, I don't think these handles will be very comfortable if I ever have to carry this luggage over long distances when it's loaded down.
There is a telescopic handle on top; the arms of made of aluminum alloy, though the handle itself is plastic. It's a very typical design for suitcases and works very well for pulling suitcases down long airport corridors.

Is Level8 luggage a good buy?
If you do a lot of traveling, the Level8 suitcase can be an ideal choice for you. It is built to withstand years of wear and tear as well as being dragged around, all while retaining its sleek and contemporary appearance. In the end, this is a very high-quality piece of luggage, and as such, it is quite pricey. The Level8 is the ideal carry-on for those travelers who want a high-performance bag that is both stylish and multi-functional. However, if you only fly once every few months, it may not be worth the hefty price for you.
