Get in touch with us to learn more about our tour. We don't have control over the main nature so each round can be a little different.
Be your own guide and rent a pontoon boat for the day! For visitors who would like to captain their own vessel, we have pontoon boats available for rent. You will receive our Seafari Map with directions of our favorite snorkeling locations, sandbars, common dolphin areas, and more.
You would like to book a private tour of the dolphins for your group? Customers can add time to their private dolphin tour, starting at 2 or 3 hour, to add extra activities such as snorkeling, island time, etc. Each boat can hold 6 people. Your captain will guide you in how to enter the water to see dolphins in their natural habitat. Next, enjoy a guided snorkeling tour to view other sea creatures around Shell Island.
Would you like to reserve a private tour? Customers have the option to add an additional hour to their private dolphin cruise (starting at two or three hours) and add other activities (ex. additional snorkeling area, more island time etc.). Boats can carry 6 passengers. Your captain will help you get in the water and show you the dolphins' natural habitat. You can then take a guided snorkeling trip around Shell Island to see the rest of the marine life.
Panama City Beach is the perfect spot for beginners to get the feel of snorkeling and it is also a great place to start a snorkel safari. Exploring along the jetty and out toward the entrance to the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico will offer the chance to spot tropical fish, crabs, rays, and other small marine animals.
Generally, there is a good chance of seeing dolphins any time the sun is out and the water is calm and clear. Feeding activities are normally seen on an outgoing tide. Your best bet is to choose a dolphin tour operator like Panama City Beach Dolphin Tours that is on the water nearly every day of the year.
