We will depart into Historic Grand Lagoon for a 25-minute relaxing cruise out to our snorkel area, Shell Island! Along the way, be on the lookout for dolphins and other sea animals in their natural habitat. When we arrive, we will anchor in the Gulf of Mexico or along Shell Island where you can snorkel for seashells and catch a glimpse of the underwater world, learn about local sea-life, or just relax and float while you take in the sun. You can also wade through the shallow water onto Shell Island to hunt for shells. After we have spent some time at Shell Island, we will end the trip with a ride out to the Gulf of Mexico to search for dolphins and sight-see along the way.

Would you like to reserve a private tour? You have the option to add on additional time to your private dolphin tour. These tours start at 2 or 3. Boats can carry 6 people. Your captain will help you get in the water to see the dolphins. You can then take a guided snorkeling trip around Shell Island to observe the marine life.

Our guides have spent many years studying dolphin behavior and are skilled at finding them and instructing guests how to get into the water to observe them in their natural environment. Your captain will also snorkel with you, showing you starfish, pufferfish and welch conchs.
For a relaxing 25-minute cruise to Shell Island, our snorkel area, we will leave Historic Grand Lagoon. Keep an eye out for dolphins, sea creatures and other marine life as you travel. We will either anchor along the Gulf of Mexico, Shell Island, or both. Here you can snorkel for shells, learn more about the local marine life, and just relax while taking in the sun. To hunt for shells, you can also swim through the shallow waters to Shell Island. After spending some time on Shell Island, the trip will conclude with a ride to the Gulf of Mexico where we can search for dolphins as well as sight-see.
Our Dolphin & Island Tours take approximately 3 hours. Seasonally, departure times are subject to change. The dock is currently empty at 9:00 a.m., and 12:30.
We also often see manatees. Manatees can be seen if conditions permit. However, we prefer passive observation so that they are not tempted to approach us.
