Padi Tec 40

Technical diving requires divers to have at least one tank. Sidemount PCB, which allows you to create multiple cylinders and use them for technical diving, is becoming more popular. You can dive into the world of Tec diving by taking the Tec Sidemount PCB Diver class. Then, you can apply what your learned to other TecRec courses. Your instructor might suggest that you integrate this course with Tec 40/Tec 45/Tec 50 courses.

Steve, I just wanted to say thank you for the amazing online Sidemount PCB training. My PADI Sidemount PCB training was last year. However, I felt that my XDeep harness setup was not as streamlined as I would like. Although the instructor was excellent, I could see that he didn't live and breathe sidemount. I had already signed up for your free course, which was very helpful. But... read moreSteve, I just wanted to say thank you for the amazing online Sidemount PCB training course. My PADI Sidemount PCB training was last year. However, I felt that my XDeep harness wasn't streamlined the way I wanted. Although the instructor was excellent, I could see that he didn't live sidemount. Your free course system was very helpful, but you left wanting more. I will be attending my Overhead Environment training in Florida this November and wanted to ensure that my setup and skills were up-to-date. I watched your entire online course (WOW). Your recommendations helped me to rebuild my XDeep harness. Your setup helped me re-do my entire bungee system and all my attachment points. I feel that my setup is correct and it feels very comfortable in the water. Again, thank you. Next, I will continue to improve my skills. It is much easier now that my harness has been properly set up. Your training was a great investment. I wish I had done it a year ago. Please take care, and keep the updates coming. Sidemount PCB Diving Courses can be used as a stand-alone course by technical divers who wish to learn more about different gear configurations. The course may be taught together with any of TDI’s other open circuit specialty courses, provided all prerequisites and standards have been met.

Certification cards: We issue these only when earned. Simply taking part in a course does not guarantee certification. For cave courses, certification cards from multiple training agencies may be available. C-cards generally cost around $30 each, depending on agency. Your instructor can tell you more.

Do water rebreathers exist

You may be eligible for certifications from other diving organizations - check with your Tec Sidemount PCB Instructor.

You should not use sidemount in your cave diver training. Our CDS Basics Orientation class is what you need.

Both courses are similar. Both courses use the same learning materials (which we also wrote). What's the difference between them?

How long can a diver stay at 60 feet

Steve, thanks so much! Vas, thank you for your mentoring. If you don't ask questions or explore the options, it can put an end to your safety and growth as a diver. I have been studying your online courses for over two years. I have practiced and developed muscle memory, but more importantly, I have never been afraid to ask questions of other divers. Read moreThanks Steve, and Vas for your mentorship. If you don't ask questions or explore the options, it can impede your progress in safety and growth as a diver. I have been studying in depth your online teachings for the past 2 years. I have practiced and developed muscle memory but, most importantly, I have not kept my mouth closed when divers ask me questions. As they now see the best way, the results are astounding. I also want to thank you for being so patient with me over the past 2 years. There are always opportunities to ask, learn and teach, as well as discuss, and grow. You should not ask stupid questions while diving. I'm sure I'll open my mouth again to ask another question! Lol
