The new SDI/TDI Sidemount Diver book is not just another book on sidemount divers. It includes a complete and comprehensive collection of training materials, all designed to be combined to make sidemount dive learning and teaching easy.
Scuba diving training should not be limited to learning how to handle any eventualities. Although this is an important part of training, we ensure that you can do it when you're done. However, you should also be able to do this in mid-water and not at the bottom with your knees. This applies to all courses we offer, including Open Water and Technical. You will learn how to scuba dive and not how to survive underwater. It is not always possible to dive in an area that allows you to get down to the bottom if an issue occurs. It is important to be able and willing to tackle any issue in the water. That's what we teach.
We wanted to give you, our students, some additional information about how to become a technical diving instructor and cave diving instructor. It is not always an easy task. Both of us have chosen to go through the difficult process of becoming technical diving and cave diving instructors.
We have a full service dive center with almost 15,000 cubic feet of 30% Nitrox banked as well as banked Trimix and oxygen. We can also provide any custom scuba fill. Call Sidemount Technical Diving Panama City Beach for an appointment.
Sidemount Pros will provide the sidemount harness, as well the hardware necessary for setting up your sidemounts. This equipment is customized specifically for you and will be available to purchase if necessary.
Our teaching philosophy has always been simple. We believe in mentors first and instructors second. We don't just teach diving; we go out and do the diving. We are available to answer any questions you may have and provide assistance. We might not know all the answers but we will help you find someone. We want to make your diving more enjoyable and better. Be sure to verify that the instructor has not been paid for a rating and given the rating. Be sure to check that the instructor has experience in teaching the sport.
Over a decade ago, we started diving and fell in love with it. After our first dive off the regulator in the pool, it was clear that this was going be a passion. Before we went to the Sea of Cortez for the checkout dives, all of our gear was purchased. We knew that we wanted to return to Mexico for another dive trip after our check-in weekend. Our first year of diving in panama saw us log over 100 dives. We were so passionate about diving that we decided to share it with others.
Don't grab animals, don't hold them for photo ops, don't go for rides on dolphins or turtles, and don't force puffer fish to inflate (it can be fatal to them).
