High productivity, heavy duty bending performance, intuitive operation - all in one cost-efficient package
This dual-drive hybrid can be used to quickly complete any project. It is long-lasting, high-speed and energy-efficient.
The torque tube brake is another variant of the dual-cylinder machine. It has two cylinders that generate half the machine's total tonnage. Torque tube brakes don't generate full tonnage throughout the brake bed; they only produce full tonnage at the brake center. Torque tube brakes pull tonnage from each of the cylinders, which can lead to distortion due to off-center loading and full length bends. Standard Industrial single-cylinder brakes do not require balancing between cylinders. There are no complex hydraulic systems that compensate for each cylinder's weaknesses. A single cylinder can provide full tonnage on the brake, so you can achieve a repeat accuracy of +/ *.001' regardless of where you work.
The game-changing tool changer gives press brake operators real-time data that can help them perform better.
Standard Industrial presses will work for any size facility, regardless of its price.
Your machine's Delem controller has a feature that lets you run it in safety mode.
Standard Industrial can provide labor on-site if the issue persists after the initial five years. This warranty is valid for 3 shifts per hour and 24 hours.
Gulf States Saw & Machine. Co. has a wide range of hydraulic press brake models that can be used to serve the diverse needs of all the businesses we service. Our press brakes are available in sizes from 22 tons up to 440 tonnes and can have beds lengths of 4' to 13'. We are able to accommodate special length requests and specific tonnage in addition to the standard stock. For easy and safe maintenance, all of our press brakes have safety devices. All electrical components are manufactured using industry-standard parts which can be easily found in our Memphis warehouse. Get more information about each model by downloading a pdf.
A press brake machine tool is used to bend steel parts and sheets upto 20mm thick. It includes a U/V-shaped die or a punch, depending on what shape you want. The material is put on the die. The punch then presses the sheet into the desired shape.
Two methods can press brakes bend steel. The first is bottom bending, where the ram presses the metal to its bottom. Bottom bending allows for precise bends, and less reliance on the machine's press brake. Each tool has its limitations. They are designed to create a particular bend and you will need a different one for each angle. The bottom of the die and the ram are separated by an air pocket when air bending occurs. This allows for the operator to account for any material spring back. These types of dies need to only be changed if there is excessive material thickness. Air bending has a drawback. Because the thickness of the material can affect the accuracy, the ram needs changing accordingly.
Every Standard hydraulic brake is subject to our Perfect Machine Process. Each Standard hydraulic brake is rigorously checked in Rockford Illinois before being installed in your shop.
Ranging from entry-level hydraulic all the way up to heavy-duty, fully customized solutions that cover any of your requirements for sheet metal forming, these press brakes represent the apex of pounds-to-performance for industrial bending.
Two palm button pedestal controls with a 3-position footswitch are part of the Press Brakes. This feature allows operators to use the footswitch when they are slow and palm buttons during fast approaches.
Standard Industrial offers a variety CNC gauging systems. These range from the most basic single line display to the most advanced 2D and 3D modeling, and everything in between. Press brakes come with no backgauge, CNC control or other standard features. A complete listing of systems can be found in our CNC Controls and Gauging catalog.
Five Types of Hydraulic Presses: Why You Need Them
You're putting unnecessary strain on your clutch by leaving your car in gear at red lights. It is better to place your car in neutral, and then apply the handbrake to keep the vehicle stationary. The clutch will not be damaged if you keep your car in neutral.
Hydraulic brakes are more efficient than mechanical disc brakes. This means that you will need to apply less pressure to the lever for equal braking power. This allows for better modulation.
The press brake is, in reality, one of the most difficult machines to master in the trade. Every sheet metal operation needs to bend.
