Variety is the reality of any job shop, and the same goes for those that operate a tube laser. It’s not unusual to see parts of various sizes come from one tube. The machine must be able to unload laser-cut parts that may be as small as 2 in. and as long as 15 ft., one right after the other. It also must be able to unload those parts without damaging them, which can be a challenge with softer metals such as aluminum.

You have the option of choosing between 2D and 3-D laser cutting technology. This allows you to make precise and customized cuts in a variety of parts, including tubes with rectangular, square, or rectangular shapes. There is also the possibility to cut profiles with diverse cross-sections (for instance, H, U, T, or Ucross sections). 3D technology not only allows straight cutting edges but also permits bevel cuts up to 45 degrees. Applications

Lasers

The CO2 Resonator is more powerful and uses more energy. This is because electricity is used to mix gases to make the laser beam. Mirrors assist the light in increasing its intensity, which prepares it to exit the resonance. Once the beam has left the resonator it must travel through several cooled reflections before reaching the lens. This is what causes the laser beam to lose its power and quality.
