Rent a pontoon boat and become your own captain for the day. Our pontoon boats can be rented for guests who wish to pilot their own boat. We will send you our Seafari Map, with directions to our favorite snorkeling spots and sandbars.
Safety is our main concern and all our tours are conducted by highly-trained crews with great discretion. Our boats are comfortable and have in-water staircases for safe return to the boat.
St. Andrew Bay is home to one of the world’s largest resident populations of bottlenose dolphins, the iconic gray dolphins that most people are familiar with from television, movies, and marine parks. The dolphins of St. Andrew Bay are wild animals but they are accustomed to the presence of people and it is common for boaters on the Bay to find themselves among a group of swimming, feeding, and playing dolphins.
For more information regarding our tour, contact us. Please remember that every tour is different as we have no control over the main course.
When you book a private charter, you have the boat all to yourself. This lets you customize your tour however you would like to. On a private tour we can take up to 6 guests plus the captain.
Want to book a private tour for your group? Our private charter options allow customers to add additional time to their private dolphin tour (starting at 2 or 3 hours) to add additional activities (ex: additional snorkeling location, more island time, etc.). Boats can accommodate 6 passengers per boat. Your designated captain will instruct you on how to get in the water and see the dolphins in their natural habitat. Next, experience a guided snorkel tour to observe other sea life around Shell Island!

Panama City Beach is the perfect spot for beginners to get the feel of snorkeling and it is also a great place to start a snorkel safari. Exploring along the jetty and out toward the entrance to the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico will offer the chance to spot tropical fish, crabs, rays, and other small marine animals.
Generally, there is a good chance of seeing dolphins any time the sun is out and the water is calm and clear. Feeding activities are normally seen on an outgoing tide. Your best bet is to choose a dolphin tour operator like Panama City Beach Dolphin Tours that is on the water nearly every day of the year.
