The majority of what you need is available onboard, however you are welcome to bring your own. You should always bring a towel, polarized sunglasses, and a jacket or sweater just in case. It's cooler on the water than it is on the land, thanks to the breeze from the open boat. Bring your own snacks and beverages.
What should we bring? You can bring almost anything, although we have most of the items you need. A towel, polarized glasses, and a sweater/jacket are recommended. Because of the breeze and open boat, it is always cooler out on the water than on land. Bring snacks and drinks! BYOB permitted.
You may have seen captive dolphins in a marine park, but it is far more interesting to watch these beautiful animals when they are healthy and free, at home in their natural environment. And even though the behavior of wild dolphins cannot be predicted and a sighting on every trip is not guaranteed, our tour captains have years of experience being on the waters of St. Andrew Bay nearly every day. They know the places where dolphins are most likely to be found and our captains do their best to make sure guests have a great time. On most tours, dolphins are spotted jumping, playing, searching for food, and communicating with one another.
St. Andrew Bay hosts one of world's largest resident populations (the iconic gray dolphins) of bottlenose dolphins. This is the area most people are most familiar with from movies, television and marine parks. The dolphins at St. Andrew Bay may be wild animals, but they are used the human presence. Boaters are often found in groups of dolphin-feeding, playing and swimming dolphins.
We make every effort to ensure that your Waverunner tour is comfortable and safe.
