Follow these guidelines for selecting vacuum pads: Use the fewest number of pads necessary, Use pads with the largest possible diameter, The load width should never exceed five times the lifting pad width or diameter when handling a load with a single row of pads, Pad capacities must be derated by 50% when used for vertical handling or upending (tilting) applications, Select the proper material for the vacuum pad. ANVER's full line of powered vacuum generators come with a variety of electrical specifications. All important electrical information is located on the vacuum generators individual web page. Note: All ANVER electrical components, controls and wiring follow international standards: UL, CSA, NFPA, NEC. It is the user’s responsibility to comply to all additional local electrical codes as they pertain to the installation. Typical North American Electricity Requirements: To be Festooned (wire loops hung from trolleys on the overhead crane) to the Lifter. Have power brought to the hoist and then down to the lifter using a retractable cable or coil cord. As you are festooning to the hoist anyway, it is just a matter of bringing additional power down to the lifter. It is best to keep the hoist and lifter pendant controls separate as they come from the factory. Other Voltages / Phases Available: Generators can be supplied in the following voltages by adding a transformer: 208V, 220V, 230V, 380V, 440V, 460V, 480V, 575V (consult factory for more information). All generator motors with a voltage of 120V or less use fuses or circuit breakers for protection. Motors and other devices that use more than 200V are fused and/or use thermal overload with a contractor.
Determine the Required Crossarm Length.Subtract 2L of the maximum load width, and add 6 inches. If this is not the standard length, then choose the next longest standard length cross-arm.
Technical Description : The vacuum generator comprises a free-moving piston in a closed tube. A rubber rolling dialm creates an airtight seal between piston and cylinder. Its efficiency does not decrease with use, as it is not dependent on metal-to–metal contacts or tight fits.
Determine the beam length. To calculate the beam length, subtract 2L from maximum load length. Next, add 6 inches to that number. A maximum load length of 120inches and a 2L length of 60inches would result in a minimum beam length of 66inches (120-60+6). If this is not a standard length you should choose the longest standard beam length.
Easy to Use, Ergonomic Controls.
The lifters can be operated by themselves so no installation is required. The mechanical lifters do not require compressed air or electrical service. Hanging the lifter on the crane hook is all that's required to set it up. The hoist up/down movement controls the load's attach/release cycles. Without putting the load down completely, you can't release it. You can complete the lifting procedure with your operators by reviewing the manual or the most recent ANSI guidelines. All lifters are fully assembled and tested. It's that easy!
Made in America.
Find the required minimum pad lengthwise. Refer to the table to determine the minimum pads needed for the maximum load length. Then, add the next highest number. If the maximum length is 120inches and the recommended spacing between pads at 60inches, you will need a lifter with two cups. Find the minimum number needed to lift the maximum weight by multiplying your maximum load length times 2L. Then, add the result and round up.
Built with safety in mind, these lifters/tilters are loaded with protective features including: a VLS, 9V battery-powered vacuum leakage sensor and warning system; an attach/release slide valve with a safety lock. The AMC-Series Lifters/Tilters are capacity rated at a maximum vacuum level of 24 in. Hg (609.6 mm Hg) with a 4:1 safety factor on vacuum holding (unless otherwise specified).
ANVER is a global leader of vacuum material handling technology. They offer a complete range vacuum lifters and vacuum lifting equipment. All models are available in lifting capacities of up to 66,000 lb (26,000 kg) depending on your needs. The following is a selection of our most well-known vacuum lifting and manual tipping end effectors. You can request a quote for the vacuum lifter that best suits your needs by clicking here.
Not included: Lifting frame with optional accessories and vacuum generator. Optional equipment is not included in the unit weight.
Make sure that your hoist or crane has sufficient lifting power. Remember that you must subtract the vacuum crane weight from the hoist and the crane to get your overall lifting capacity. Have you ordered any key spare parts, like seals or vacuum cups. Although they can last, this item will likely be the first that requires service.
Switch the engine on and off for 30 seconds. After 10 minutes, disconnect the check valve from power booster. There is no vacuum leak if there is a strong surge of air entering the power booster after you have removed the check valve. If no air surge occurs, it is likely that there is a vacuum leak. A valve inspection is recommended.
0 PSIA For a perfect vacuum (100%) the pressure is either 0 torr or 0 Psia.
Adults should keep their suction pressure below 200 mmHg. In neonates, it should be between 80 mmHg and 120 mmHg. [3] The suction catheter should not exceed 50% of the diameter of the endotracheal tubes.
There are three types of lifts: core lifts, supplemental lifts and ancillary lifts. To achieve balance and athleticism, a strength program must include all three types.
