The CNC Beam Drill Line can be operated easily and Avenger operators are the ones who lay out the floor. You don't need any prior computer knowledge and are given full training at the time of installation.

CNC Beam Drill Line not only processes beams and columns but can also easily process all steel profile including channel, flat, flat, base plates RHS, square and round.

CNC Beam Drill Lines are space-efficient beam processing solutions. They require a minimum of 70ft by 9ft floor space. This makes it perfect for smaller fabricators and fabricators who have limited space. Many CNC Beam Drill Line installations are located outside, which allows for more fabricator space.

The Franklin HD145(3) spindle CNC drill is available in 44-inch width. The HD-145 can carry beams upto 750 lbs/foot. Hi-performance spindles provide drilling capabilities of up to 2,000 rpm. This rigid design delivers extremely high feed rates of up 300 surface feet per hour. You can have the Franklin HD145 equipped with various material handling packages, from 300 lbs per ft to 750lbs per ft.

Programming of the CNC Beam Drill Line is very simple even when done manually. The machine programming software is Peddimat and most operators can learn how to program most parts in less than an hour. Of course practice makes perfect. However the best way to program the machine is to import parts directly from a CAD drawing preferably done in some 3-D modeling software such as Tekla Structures, SDS/2, ProSteel 3D, StruMis etc. These files import directly into the machine and the operator merely selects the part to be processed and hits the Cycle Start button.

Yes. There are many CNC Beam Drill Lines outside. Weather protection must be provided for the control panel as well as the mobile platform. For photos of many of our outdoor installations, please contact us.

Advantage-2 uses a variety of support clamps to ensure maximum rigidity through the machine. Carbide tool life can be extended by reducing vibrations as much as possible.

We have installed more than a thousand CNC Beam Drill Line and angle lines throughout the world and we have found that the average operator, who has never before programmed a machine before, can become efficient on the machine in less than 1/2 day.

Why are thicker beams stronger

Z-Reader Probe- This probe maps the surface's location. It can be operated manually and programmatically. The option is removed from danger and is not active while the cutting process is underway. It can be used for surface mapping or to verify surface at each point before the cutting process begins. It is responsible for initialization, or zeroing the device on the surface at beginning of a program. From there it tracks the difference or accumulates them.

Advantage-2 carbide drills use electronic ball screw drive spindle motion and automatic tool change technology. The combination of Voortman's legendary build quality and mechanical design gives the best combination of strength, agility, and strength.

We believe that, based on current pricing, the customer is better served with good quality Ocean Penetrator Twist Drill Bits and a good sharpener.

Voortman's CNC Beam Drill Lines can be included in a Drill Saw Line, or in larger fully-automated integrated production lines. This is also known as Multi System Integration. Learn more!

Frequently Asked Questions

There are some guidelines and rules. According to IS 456:2000, the minimum thickness of RCC beams should not be less that 9'' (230mm). Therefore, RCC beams must be at least 9'' (230mm thick). Concrete grade M20 with T12 as tension bar at bottom and T10 at the top is recommended.

The primary structural framing component that will support the load is the beams. To resist and redistribute load, beams must bend. Girders on the other side are rigid because they support the beams and provide the main horizontal support.

Never drill a hole less than 1' from the floor joist or beam end. Also, avoid drilling within 1 foot of the beam's top on a post or support column. 2. The 1/3/3 rule applies to overhead spans.

The width/depth ratio (W/D), is the ratio of the bankfull bankfull width to the average depth of the bankfull canal. This ratio is crucial for understanding how energy is distributed within a channel and how sediment can be moved by various discharges.

Drilling lines are used for lifting or lowering the drill pipe into the wellbore. They present a challenging application for wire ropes with repetitive high-load bending over sheaves.
