Cnc Drill Line Cut-off Program

"..We have drilled around 25,000 holes since purchasing our CNC Drill Line approximately four months ago. It used to take 5 minutes to drill each hole. We now spend approximately. 30 seconds per hole, which is a saving of 1875 man-hours over the course of 4 months. That's $84,375 for our shop! You can see that this machine will pay back in less than one years. This machine not only speeds up our production, but it also opens up the floor for new jobs.

The programming of the CNC Drill Line can be done intuitively even by operators who have never used a computer or CNC.

“..In an effort to meet customer demands and increase production, we have installed a new beam drill line the resulting reduced labor cost and quicker turnaround times have consistently helped usin landing quality jobs.

Auto Standoff is currently defined as surface-stand-off. This should not be confused for vector standoff with 5-axis. The current auto stand off is based on a moving surface. It will adjust vertically based the angle at the "A" Axis. You can perform the vector change even if the machine is not running with the help of buttons on screen.

CNC Drill Lines can process beams and columns as well as all steel profiles including channel and angle, flat bar, base plate, RHS and square.

CNC Drill Lines are space-efficient beam processing solutions. They require a minimum of 70ft by 9ft floor space. This makes it perfect for smaller fabricators and fabricators who have limited space. Many CNC Drill Line installations are located outside, which allows for more fabricator space.

Multifunction Cnc Beam

The Advantage-2 CNC beam drill line with its powerful material handling support, meticulous measurement capabilities and high speed designs are ideal for tandem installations with any of Voortman' automatic sawing systems.

CNC Drill Line not only processes beams and columns but can also easily process all steel profile including channel, flat, flat, base plates RHS, square and round.

Beam drills can be a valuable tool in large and medium-sized structural fabrication shops. Beam drills are able to drill holes in a wide range of steel profiles, at different lengths, using CNC controlled programming. These machines make it possible to eliminate the need for manually drawing or laying out the positions. This lengthy process can take up to a week and requires multiple workers. A beam drill line eliminates manual planning and any associated errors.

As customers often bring a few pieces of steel with holes or layout marks, we train the operator to use Peddimat.

These drop-in, serrated grippers are used to secure flat bars, base plates, angles, and other profiles with rounded edges.

The CNC Drill Line is programmed either manually on the machine or by using the Peddimat program. This software is included in the AVENGER. It can be installed on any number of computers in your office that you like. It is the exact same software as the machine, and it is also used on all Voortman CNC fabrication machinery.

The CNC Drill Line can import DXF files and can use them to process 3-D shapes as long as the steel is detailed according to specific rules. Some of these rules might be different to the way you are detailing at the moment and might require some adjustment. This process is not nearly as seamless as the 3-D modeling software solutions above.

Z-Reader Probe-- The Z-Reader Probe can be used to locate the surface. It can be used to programmatically or manually. This option is not activated while cutting and is easily retracted. It can be used to verify the surface of each pierce, or to map the entire surface before cutting begins. It starts by initializing or zeroing the device to a surface at the start of a program. After that, it accumulates or tracks any difference.

Frequently Asked Questions

How big a beam should span 24 feet? A 4 nailed 2x18, 4-2x18, or 8x18 wood beam will allow you to span 24ft. For a span of 24 feet, you'll need at least 4-2x18 or 8x18 wood beams.

Flange of T-beam/L-beam refers to the portion of the slab that acts in tandem with the beam to resist loads. The beam below the flange can be called Web or Rib. The T-beams support the slab, while the L-beams support it.

This can be avoided by using a well-designed concrete beam or increasing concrete's compression strength by adding steel reinforcement to the compression side or by increasing the beam geometry.

Drilling lines are used for lifting or lowering the drill pipe into the wellbore. They present a challenging application for wire ropes with repetitive high-load bending over sheaves.
