The food is good, but the service is horrible. I had a sandwich that was supposed to come out hot, it came out cold. I asked for my money back, and they refused. The manager told me he couldn't give me a refund because I wasn't there long enough. He then tried to charge me $3.50 for water, even though I paid for it. When I pointed out that I never got charged for the water, he just ignored me. This place is a scam. Don't waste your money here. The word tavern comes from the Middle English term taverne, meaning “tavern”. Tavern was originally used to describe a building where people could drink beer and wine. In the early days of America, taverns were places where soldiers would go after a long day of fighting to relax and enjoy themselves. When the United States government banned drinking at public events, taverns became popular gathering spots for citizens who wanted to socialize without being bothered by law enforcement.
